BLS Ambulance

Car 66 is the Department's Basic Life Support ambulance.  It is staffed 24 hours a day by two Firefighter/EMT's.  It responds to all medical emergencies in Boxborough and also provides mutual aid to surrounding towns when their ambulance is already busy.  During the weekdays, C66 also responds to all fire calls and contains 2 SCBAs, forcible entry tools, and a gas meter.

For more serious emergencies, Emerson Hospital Advanced Life Support Paramedics assist Boxborough EMTs.
